TRICK QUESTION !
the Main line religions around today started in the Far East or Middle East.
These include Jewish, Islam, Christianity, Zorastrian, Bahaii, Confucius, Budhism, Shinto, Taoism.
You could try American Indian beliefs into Western. -Scientology ? not sure ....
-the Latter Day Saints (Mormons) started in USA, but as an off-shoot of Christianity, so has its basis in the Middle East.
-Hellenism (Greek gods) and Wican (European witchcraft) are western.
Good luck

Christianity and Islam are the one 2 religions that actively recruit contributors and take a look at to transform humans. Currently Christians are sending such a lot in their missionaries east in order that leaves the west open for Islam. Plus Muslims are relocating west.

LOL...mostly Christianity™.
That's probably what they mean. Compare Hinduism with the Judeo-Christian tradition. For example, Hinduism has a pantheon of literally thousands of gods, whereas Christianity, following Judaism, just has the one, or the three, or whatever.
Now, technically, as the guy says below, Christianity, Judaism and Islam all began in the Near East. But in the case of Christianity, the religion as it's practiced today is mostly a sort of modified Roman paganism in Eastern dress - which is no mistake, since it REALLY began as a Roman state religion. The idea of a divine "Son of God" who is killed for the sake of his followers is pure paganism, and certainly would've outraged Jews of the first century (such as "Jesus" himself).
