Just go to the post office with your package. Make sure it does not include anything other than media (books, magazines, CDs) except for maybe a packing slip. Then ask for Media Mail shipping and they'll take care of the rest. Just keep in mind that they sometimes open packages in transit to verify the contents.

Just tell the post office that it is media mail. Like a book, cassettes, CD, or DVD.

Go to http://www.usps.com and get the media mail rate for the parcel of books or other eligible materials you want to send.

Just tell the postal clerk it's media mail. Sometimes it's cheaper, sometimes not. And it takes MUCH, MUCH longer.
