Well, the following will work on the walls, but not plants. Get you a propane torch (at Wal-Mart for about 20 bucks), go out after dark and torch the web WHILE the spider is there. Get the spider and web at the same time. Repeat this each night or every other night until they are all gone.

That means you have less flying bugs, mosquitos & other ilk than most. Do you like flying stinging insects?
