First of all, are you trying to clean grease from your doors? If so, put some Skin So Soft bath oil (Avon) on the grease and wipe off with a paper towel until grease is gone. Then, wash with a dish washing liquid, like Dawn, diluted in hot water. The oil actually loosens the hold that the kitchen grease has on the wood. It also won't harm your wooden surfaces, because it's an oil, and will actually even clean unpainted wooden surfaces just as well, leaving them looking great. Identifying the kind of dirt makes it easier to know what product to use. Simple Green also works well on grease, as well as S p i c & Span. When cleaning wooden surfaces, use an old washcloth, which is rough and can scrub the surface easier. Hope this helps. <*)))><
