I tried the answers to this same question without success. Is there any other solutions

Outlook Express certainly can download attachments. I believe the default security setting is to prevent them from being downloaded. I forget where, but somewhere in Outlook Express' options you have to allow the downloading of attachments.

Trying to think... I'm not sure outlook express can download attachments and you might have to upgrade..

Or you can go with Mozilla's ThunderBird. (at mozilla.com) which has more features then express and is free. or i recently heard of foxymail. I haven't used express before, but i read something to that mark. Someone correct me if i'm wrong please.

try clicking on the attachment,or right click then click open
