Several years ago, I purchased a Sandalwood fan from a museum that had a special chinese exhibit at the time. Now, I'd like to purchase another one for a special friend of mine. I've tried amazon.com and eBay, but I'd like to be able to purchase it from an actual shop instead of buying it online.
Does anyone know of a good store that might sell sandalwood fans?

I'd first check the Asian antique and collectible stores in your neighborhood. Also, don't rule out the Chinese grocery stores. You'd be amazed what you can find in those places sometimes. As for the national chains, maybe Cost Plus World Market or Pier 1 Imports might have something like that. All else fails, go to China. Good luck hunting.
