My 13 year old daughter is a very attractive girl and she recently started wearing thong panties. I am a single father and am worried about this. I confronted her and she says she likes wearing em and wants to continue. Sometimes I get kind of sick cause I can see them sticking out from her jeans but she seems to me to be too young to wear them. I really dont feel comfortable talking to her about thong panties and not to wear them but I know exactly why she shouldnt. I am a young father and a man in my thirties and I know how turned on and horny I get when I see a woman wearing a thong on the beach or see a thong stick out of a girls back. It is a major turn on. I can't tell u how many times I have masturbated to girls that I have seen wearing them. I am just afraid some teenage boy is doing the same thing to my daughter. It makes me wonder if I should say no thongs till she is 18 and old enough to make her own decisions about them and when she is legally an adult. I dont know though.

First thing is who buys them? If its you then stop. Do you have custody of her? If so put your foot down. Go throw them all away and tell her that you will not allow her to wear something that is so reveiling. Tell her that you dont appreciate seeing them hanging out of her jeans and tell her that you were young once and you know how guys think. Tell her she has more class then that to let them show above her pants.
She will probably throw a fit, but You are the parent here!! Good luck

She is 13.
This means that she is still a child.
Subject to reasonable input on what she wears from her parent.
If you already bought thongs for her with out seeing this problem
And now are trying to take them away it sends the wrong message.
Because your daughter is an intelligent young lady she will understand your argument.
She will not like it but you could compromise say she only wears then around your home.
How ever younger girls are more prone to coping older stars or even women in their own community. So talk with her.
Let her know what type of image she is sending out.
Make her aware of the inherent problems of this sexy image.
Don’t try to scare her frumpy but let her know or even show her what the men will do when she walks by wearing a thong sticking over her jeans.
Ask her if she really only wants to be noticed for her body? Does she not want admiration for her brains & other fine qualities?

Ok hun. You have every right to be concerned espescially when you know how attractive a women can look in a thong. It does look attractive. when the female has a nice shape. I do understand and i recommend that if you tell her .....you will allow her to wear thongs as long as they can't be seen period. thats it .and that is that. that includes when she bends down or over they should not be able to be seen. You can even make her practice in front of you just to make sure. Thats right say honey come in here lets do the test. Yup ask her to bend over and pick up something.If they can be seen when she bends down then maybe her shirt needs to be longer or her belt is not tight enough or the thongs are just too high on her hips and can be pulled down.
If she doesn't agree with you then she can go back to wearing thigh highs or bikini. Tell your daughter there are more importnat things for yall to talk about and do. Lets not make turn this into a big issure to have a negative affect on our relationship. I have your best interest in mind. (Remember you only have one father but i can have more children lol).

It seems this is bothering you enough to write about it you should definitely stop her from wearing them. Like the others have said, where is she getting them in the first place? Sit down with her and tell her they are to mature for her at 13 years old. It seems she's wearing them for attention anyways so stop it now, you are the adult and not to mention the FATHER!! look minnies answer, tell her its okay for her to wear what she likes better, but also tell her to keep it under her clothes, by now its the only use she can give her thong, simple underwear. later on her life she will decide if she wants to use thongs also as a part of a healthy sex life. Dont give it too much importance, its just underwear.

Just dont buy MORE thong for her. But trust me you do not want to forbid her. I am a thirteen year old girl myself and she is propably just wearing them for comfort and no panty lines. Just warn her about them sticking up from her pants or vuy hear some highwaisted jeans but do not forbid hear wearing something that she wants to wear!

She's 13 what do you mean you have no control over her.She' s to young to be wearing throngs where i'm from the parents have the saying in what you wear or go untill your 18 even at that age they still wants to control you.

I've got 15 and 14 year old kids in thongs. If you make a big deal out of it YOU are causing the problem. She's most likely not wearing them to attract boys, maybe they just feel more comfortable. No panty lines and all that. Leave it alone. If you dwell on it you might have some personal issues, such as being turned on by the sight of her panties hanging out of her jeans. This is just the fashion these days. Stop thinking with your manhood, and start thinking with you brain. If you know your daughter, you will know what kind of person she is. Your house, your rules. You are her father, not her friend and you can tell her what to wear. A thirteen year old girl is a handful to raise on your own, but you need to be her father and show her fairness and discipline with clear consequences if she breaks the rules.
Also, know who she is hanging out with and invite her friends over so you know her friends.
A thirteen year old should not be wearing thongs or low cut jeans. I know she would not be allowed to wear such things to school since they would be considered provocative and a distraction.
SET LIMITS YOU ARE THE FATHER!
