Mekong River:
The river's source, and therefore its exact length, is uncertain, due to the existence of several tributaries in an inaccessible environment. Chinese researchers believe that the source is located in the Jifu Mountains in Zaduo (杂多) County, Yushu (玉樹) Tibet Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Qinghai Province, which is some 5,200 meters above sea level. An earlier expedition, led by Michel Peissel, placed the source at the head of the Rupsa-La pass (further west, at an altitude of 4975 meters). Figures for the river's total length therefore vary between 4350 and 4909 km.

Approximately half the river's length is in China, where it is called the Dza Chu in Tibetan in its upper course in Tibet (Chinese: 扎曲; pinyin: Zá Qū), and more generally the Lancang in Chinese (Simplified Chinese: 澜沧江, Traditional Chinese: 瀾滄江; pinyin: Láncāng Jiāng), meaning the "turbulent river". Much of this stretch consists of deep gorges, and the river leaves China at an altitude of only 500 meters. The entire river is known as the Meigong in Chinese (Chinese: 湄公河; pinyin: Méigōng Hé).

The river next forms the border between Myanmar and Laos for 200 km, at the end of which it meets the tributary Ruak River at the Golden Triangle.

The Ganga:
The Gangotri Glacier in the Uttaranchal Himalayas is the origin of the Bhagirathi river, which joins the Alaknanda river at Devaprayag, also in the Uttaranchal Himalayas, to form the Ganga. The river then flows through the Himalayan valleys and emerges into the north Indian plain at the town of Haridwar. This section sees extensive Whitewater rafting and kayaking from September to March.

So as pewr records, nither Mekong has any indian name equivalent, nor its source is traceable near any of Indian borders, so how cud it be having souces in India.

The Yellow River (Huang He) is in north China. The Yangtze is in central China and flows generally east into the Yellow Sea. The Mekong flows from western China then flows generally south through SE Asia touching on Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia to empty into the South China Sea. The Ganges flow mainly in Northern India from west to east before turning south to the Bay of Bengal. The Rio Grande flows south through New Mexico before turning generally southeast to form the border with Mexico. It flows into the Gulf of Mexico at the southern tip of Texas.

In indian territory of course but China is also like Pakistan.

Always occupying someone else's territory and india does not have the money to fight all these people who are trespassers because India is not such a rich country.

So everyone takes advantage of India.

It is really strange how most of the clever intelligent and educated countries have at one time or another threatened to attack or attacked india for its resources or its territory.

It is a pity we live in such a wicked world as criminal activity should not be a way of life like most of india"s neighbours are involved in

The water of the ganges and the mountain area where it comes from are religiously Hindu property.
