I have very bushy eyebrows and I'm very self concious about it. I've heard that if you wax hair in a certain region it will grow back finer and less.

It does grow in finer, however, you have to maintain them by plucking them in between waxings. You could probably go every 3 - 4 weeks as long as you were plucking the bigger ones as they grow in.

Most people notice some regrowth after about a week, everyone is different.(I used to preform waxing services in a salon and was professionally trained to do so). The hair growing back thicker is false, but after time any hair removal that pulls the hair out from the root will eventually cause the finer and less growth. I've met women that have tweezed and waxed there brows in thin lines for years and then when they try to grow them in, are not able to(but this takes many years). Give it a try, find a good place so they don't mess your brows up. Good Luck

Once you wax, little hairs will start growing back anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks. I do think that continuos waxing eventually leads to thinner/finner hair but that could take a very long time. It also depends on your hair color/thickness. If you have light or fine hair it usually takes hair longer to grow back in after the intial waxing and sooner for the waxing to start making hair finner/thinner. If you have dark, thick hair, it will grow in more quickly and will take years for the area to become noticeably more sparse.

That's true. It might take a few years though. But once you wax it, you'll have to get it re-done every 2 weeks or so.
