people are supposed to donate free stuff to you in a thrift store then you sell it for cheap.

Garage sales!!!!! ALOT of times if you wait until the very last day you can get alot of cheap things for pennies or even free! People just want to get rid of it- not carry it all back into the house again!!!!! PLUS u can always offer them a bulk price for everything and it will be much cheaper! Look for moving sales! Good luck in your venture! I LOVE THRIFT STORES!!!!!

Your own home, friends, family, yard sales are where I where start. We also have a FreeCycle group in our area through yahoo groups. People give things away or ask for things needed but no money exchanges hands. You might see if there is one such group for your area.
You can also find scads of cheap items at Oriental Trading.com and bulk lots of things on ebay.

Try yard sales. Also, try E-bay. Often you can find items in lots on E-bay and sell them individually at a good profit.
