Last night, I was watching "Silent Hill" which was about this ghost town that continually rained ashes because of a massive fire 30 years ago. The main character walks into an old building and says, "Looks like there was a fire." WTFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another stupid moment in this movie was when the cop chick sees the monster coming for the first time and she pulls out her gun and says "Stop right there" or something. I was like "WTF" he's an f-ing MONSTER!

Curly - You got waaaaay to philosphical on this one but I appreciate your thoughtful response. One line that changed my life was in "Dead Poet's Society." "Carpe Diem" is my motto in life!

Silent Hill is full of them. it should be in the Guiness Book of World Records for having the most stupid lines. like when a giant triangular headed guy with a sword almost kills the main characters, that one lady is like "everthing is going to be okay, everythings fine" thats when everybody in the theater started cracking up and saying " oh no it aint" there is alot of other ones in that movie i cant remember besides the one where she goes into a burnt building and says "looks like this place caught fire" then im like "great eyes, genius"

I think the word stupid is vague.
"Im never going to use algebra in real life" is a very unwise statement that misleads millions of kids. Algebra shows that $ per gallon is a scam, because you arent buying gas for the sake of gas, you are buying miles that gas will make your car go. To get the whole picture you need to know the actual mpg of the car, and the price of the gas to find $ per mile. The $ you get is from trading hours of your life for money. So you also need to keep in mind your wages, so you can express how many hours of your life you are trading for a mile of transportation.
I would be much more surprised to find any line that WASNT stupid in a movie. What line that a character has said has changed your life for the better? What line did you tell your friends and it changed their life for the better?
The darkness is easy to see.. the hard thing to see is actual light.

There have been many bad lines, such as you pointed out, of stating the obvious. But I'd have to go with, "Hasta La Vista, Baby." Because how many total losers walked around parroting that crap forEVER!?

'I think I'd miss you even if I'd never met you' or something like that from the 'Wedding Date' with Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney. It was an OK movie but that line was corny!

"After all, I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy...asking him to love her."
