The amount of time it can take ranges greatly, the longest (according to rumor) being six hours. The best thing to do is to open it in a new window and just leave it spinning, checking up on it when you want.
It's definately not my favorite wheel on Neopets...

The shortest time possible in the Wheel if Monotony, is 30 minutes. The longest have been 3 hours. The average would be 1:30 -2:00 hours..

it all depends. i think the shortest is half an hour, and the longest is 2 hours.
