what i mean is i love getting the ones that really try and slag you off or offend you, i just had one asking if i was a real legend or a self proclaimed legend saying "Did you know that deluded tosser is a non-anagram of self proclaimed legend?". this made me laugh as his real name is actually an anogram for "balsack wad" make of it what you will! i found this lightly amusing!

I think some people just have a bee in their bonnet and think that they can anonymously vent their rage here!!!!

I laugh and give best answers to the people who are rude cos it amuses me to baffle them!!!

I go with the maxim " take what's useful and disregard the rest. " If I ask a question, the one which is most helpful, or resonates with me the most, gets the best answer. Any smart @rse answers get ignored. (though I'm not adverse to posting the odd cheeky reply if the question is silly, or humorous)

I don't really see the point of asking abusive questions, or giving abusive answers. This is, first and foremost, a forum for finding out what you want to know. As the welcoming email says, it is the 'world's largest think tank.' You ask a question, and you have 6 billion possible helpers out there who can answer. I have been hoping for years that a medium like this would come along.

Sometimes you also have to look at the questions. There are some very stupid and badly written or poorly explained questions in some sections. Unsurprisingly, they yield some pretty daft responses. Ask a thought-provoking question, and it will provoke thoughts (and responses).

I often do consider the responses I post. I can think and type quite fast, and find that before I know it, I have a twenty line answer waiting to be submitted. A couple of times I have bookmarked a question, thought about it, written down my thoughts on a piece of paper, then gone back and cobbled together an answer.

Many many varieties of people respond here. That is what makes it lively !
I suppose the Yahoo Team , is the most amazed of all , at the way this thing is turning out to be. They are proving their involvement in the frequent improvements they are attempting, because it is not a routine changes to a software ! They are dealing with a vast variety of sensitive minds !
Each sub category, why, each question, seems to create a world of its own , with such versatile range of answers !
Personally, the feedback or comments of askers touches me deep, when a good question gets an answer that thoroughly satisfies them !

There must be a lot of very insecure people out there if they feel hurling abuse in this type talk shop does them any good. I am sure most people just ignore the child like and read the answerer's to there questions with interest To be fare though I do like a bit of banter, and the occasional smart ar-ed reply . There are some sharp folks out there

yeh i guess people get really bored and just want to abuse the crap outa people... u can diffiently tell with some of my answers when im in a bad mood coz i give really abusive answers most the time speically to the idiots who ask stupid questions. I find it funny and no offence to the men, but going into the pregnancy area guys that have no idea what they are talking about will act like they know what they are talking about and i will write the correct answer and i will then get a IM from someone to telling me that i am wrong...I always respond with.. mate ur not female, i am ur not pregnant...nor will ever be pregnant I have been pregnant i think i know a little more than u do... people are stupider than i thought on this site some of the people that answer questions just have no idea wat they are going on about

I do take time to seriously think about my answer if the question is deserving, so if someone is worried about their health and I can offer some background info, I wont take the p*ss, just give them some info they can use.

However, if someone asks a racist or offensive question, I will occassionally (only occassionally!!) have a go before reporting them. I do try just to report them tho, not get steamed up, not good for the blood pressure lol!

Good question Legend!xx

I always answer questions that I feel I have good knowledge for. This whole Point system and what not is not a big deal. I just enjoy reading what people have to say (learning somethings at times) and helping others if I can.

I do think of the answers, but unlike you I can't laugh at people who really insult me, it makes me really upset and angry, and the thing is that you can't reply to them and say well actually... because if you did then you'd be making them the best answer! I just ask really safe questions to try not to offend!

It ain't just the answers, but also the questions. Sometimes it's all bullocks. Maybe yahoo should alter the grading system, give points only to best answers and answers with positive rating.

Based on the so called questions you have asked in the past I'm surprised you haven't been turned in to Yahoo Answers for abuse. You have a screw or two loose in your head Mr. Blond hair, blue eyes, and you like to eat healthy. I'm rolling my eyes at you right now dude.....
Would it kill you to ask a real question for once?
