It used to be used as a Law Firm back in the 1800's. The house was built in the 1800's. I have searched and found nothing. Please help!

Hey contourgi...,

Does the house have a name? Town? Location? Start collecting the clues, and use KEYWORDS as your search on Yahoo, Google, etc. Try the Town Hall or City Hall where the building was. They usually have records, or know where the records are kept. Also try the library that is local to the building, it should be documented there. Librarians are very helpful, that is what they do. You can call, write, or even use the internet and email to do this.

Google and yahoo search are some of the biggest web sites when looking for almost anything.Good luck and remember if those don't work, there's always your local library!!!!!!!!!

Try the National Register of Historic Places site,
http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/. (I wondered if my public history classes in college would be useful; now I know.)
