I can see that the events you describe must make you feel a little scared - but they are coincidences. Nothing more.

I have a sunroom and several birds have committed unintentional suicide against the windows (even though I have predator bird silhouettes on the glass), but nothing has died in my house so far - not even the sunroom plants .

It is a tragic tale you relate, but please be assured that it is merely an unfortunate and very rare coincidence, and that your family members would have died anyway, irrespective of the bird incidents.

Regarding your ex husband.... he rescued the bird that entered his home, so if anything his action should ensure his safety.

Try not to worry.

That's just superstition. I guess it could mean death for the bird though. People die all the time so it's easy to associate it with the bird thing. We have a glass 'Florida rm' on our house. Birds fly into the windows frequently. I don't know of anyone who died but, I'm sure someone did. Put your fears to rest and worry about something real, like terrorism.

Birds do that all the time, and will keep bashing against the window and get tired of it and fly away. Don't be so superstitious.

If that were true my whole family would be dead. We live in a house with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows. We have birds pranging into them almost on a daily basis.

According to the old wives tale this is what happens. It seems pretty coincidental that this has happened so often in your life and am sorry for your losses but still believe it is merely coincidence.

I had a bird in my house once, years ago, and no one died.

Don't freak out too badly, okay.

I don't think he's dying anytime soon. True, those occurances were scary but I think they were coincidences. ^_^
