I spend hours on Amazon.com reading back covers trying to find something that will pique my interest. Frankly, I don't have that kind of time, so I need lots of suggestions. (Please read criteria below! Longest list gets 10 points!)

I'm looking for something of the psychological thriller or romantic suspense genres. I like to be kept on the edge of my seat, but I'm not talking about police procedurals or routine crime dramas. I also don't like gory horror stories. Not into that hockey mask, ice pick stuff.

I like novels that have to do with uncovering deep, dark secrets and sordid pasts. I like mysteries that have to do with things that happened years ago that caused a chain reaction of events. I love mind games that keep you guessing until the very end- nothing too predictable! Okay, and to be completely blunt, I also love lots of passion and sex! Whether it's love, lust, or force. Don't care; It just has to be hot and steamy!

EX: Faves include JD Robb & early VC Andrews.

I have read a lot of VC Andrews and Nora Roberts/JD Robb. They are truly wonderful, and I'm looking for more authors just like them. Thanks for the suggestions, and keep them coming!

Minette Walters should be right up your alley, her psychological thrillers are terrific:
The Ice House, The Sculptress, The Scold's Bridle, The Dark Room, The Echo, The Breaker, The Shape of Snakes, Acid Row, Fox Evil, Disordered Minds, The Tinder Box, The Devil's Feather

Also try Larry Brooks:
Pressure Points, Darkness Bound, Serpent's Dance, Bait & Switch

I love these types of books, too. You should try any of Sandra Brown's romantic suspense:
White Hot, Ricochet, Charade, Standoff, Chill Factor
Hello, Darkness, The Crush, Envy, The Switch, The Alibi, Unspeakable, Fat Tuesday, Exclusive, The Witness, Where There’s Smoke, French Silk, Breath of Scandal, Mirror Image,
Best Kept Secrets, Slow Heat In Heaven

Luanne Rice is good, too, but if you want more suspensful, try The Secret Hour, Dream Country and Summer's Child.

Nora Roberts also has some great romantic thrillers.
Midnight Bayou, Sweet Revenge, True Betrayals, Divine Evil

I think you'd enjoy some stuff by Laurell K. Hamilton. She writes the Antia Blake, Vampire Hunter series, among others. This series doesn't start on the really sexy parts until about the fourth novel in the series, though. The other series she's writing, though, is the Meredith Gentry series, and that one gets into the sex in the first book. The Gentry series is not that far along, though; about four books so far, if I remember correctly.
