One day in the life of Ivan Dessinovich ( or Denissovich, I don't recall). By Alexander Soljenitzin, a Nobel prize winner. Very good book. You should try it.

Say you love me by Trisha Alexander. I have read it many times and I can read it any time. The story is so beautifully woven that you forget that it is fiction. The emotions and hesitation and the misunderstandings of Tess - leading character of the novel are so real that it seems to me that I am reading my diary.

I love Sydney Sheldon and Danielle Steel's writings.
