Lee Harvey Oswald's killing by Jack Ruby was the first televised murder on November 24th 1963. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot on November 22nd but the only film of this is the Zapruder Film, the amateur footage of the assassination.

November 1963 John Francis Kennedy. I watched his shooting on UK TV. My eldest daughter Kim was 13 months old and she was wearing a blue dress with white pom poms at the neck. A white knitted hat, white tights and blue shoes. Remember it as if it were yesterday. I was also 4 months pregnant at the time.

Was in a motorcade in Dallas.
