I find his promise as empty as a Cleveland Brown trophy case. That was shameful!

Sorry Andy...I was talking about the modern era for the Browns

Titans fan here... I say he should at least be suspended for the remainder of the season. I also think he should be charged with assault and hauled down to the jail. We don't need that kind of attitude on the Titans or in the NFL.

Despite his apologies and claims that he's not a dirty player, actions speak louder than words. That's all I have to say about Haynesworth, but I would like to respond to your claim about the Browns. I'd like to start by saying that football was played long before the first Superbowl was played. That said, the Browns have won eight World Championships in 46, 47, 48, 49, and 50. Wow! and if five championships in a row wasn't enough, they also won in 54, 55, and 64. To add to that, they played in but lost the championship in 51, 52, 53, and 65. From 46 to 55 they appeared in every championship, winning seven of them. That's a lot of trophies. So next time you want to make fun of a team that is currently losing and claim that they have no trophies in their case, you better do your homework.

This type of behavior is unacceptable in any sport at any level. Except maybe if you were Mayan where the victor was beheaded.

At minimum, he should be suspended for the rest of the year and pay a heavy fine like his remaining 2006 salary. Then perhaps allow him to come back and play for the player minimum for a year as probation before he can make the big bucks again. And even that might be too light a penalty.

As a Titans fan i feel some of his frustration, however this is totally unacceptable, i feel he should not play in the NFL again !!!!!! If this happened on the street he would be in jail, its time we quit making excuses for players behavior( Haynesworth or whoever) and hold them to the same standards as an everyday citizen

Honestly, he needs to be suspended for the rest of the season WITHOUT pay. Maybe if he gets hit hard enough in his pocketbook he'll truely appreciate how disguisting his actions were.

Haynesworth is a disgrace to himself ,the Titans, and the NFL.

In his way Stalin became yet another Hitler, and Stalin lasted longer in potential, and died of previous age, nonetheless in potential. Stalin became in fee of Soviet Russia, crucial united states of america. when you consider that that factor there have been quite a few dictators in fee of international locations which have had huge effect, e.g.Ghaddafi in Libya (small united states of america by skill of inhabitants, yet large effect because of oil), Mao Tse Tung in China and Saddam Hussein in Iraq (oil, again, and look on the chaos in Iraq when you consider that he became deposed). no man or woman can predict the destiny, yet i does no longer be taken aback to stumble on a dictator in an same position to Hitler at a at the same time as.

Ban him from the NFL. Let him try to earn a living like the rest of us. If he has to act like a human being he will most likely fail. He almost makes Bill Romanowski look like a decent human being.

I'll never spike another player again? Please. That's like a rapist saying 'I'll never rape again' or a killer saying 'I'll never slaughter a family again' or better yet, a president saying 'I'll never raise taxes'. It's utter BS so he won't lose his job! The guy should be incarcerated - that was a crime - assault is assault no matter who it is or where it is. Cops should've put the metal bracelets on him right there on the sideline!
