Formal Dinner: Chicken Scallopini, Angel Hair pasta tossed with peas, little prosciutto and a butter/lemon/cream sauce. Fresh green salad, garlic bread (light on the garlic), light and crisp white wine. Dessert: Berry torte or trifle and coffee/tea.

Informal: BBQ Pork ribs, grilled veggie skewers, calico beans (there are MANY ways to make these, find a recipe that appeals to you), buttermilk bisquits. Dessert: Apple/caramel pie with or without ice cream.

plenty. If it is at home, buy hawker food, then dress it up real pretty. You can get it under $100.
Or else go to Hans for cheap set meals, or a cheaper buffet at about $15 per person. Buy tze char from coffee shops, or delifrance has set meals under $15 each, Quite a good deal.

Make a spaggheti dinner. Alfredo w/chicken or meat sauce and tomatoes. Garlic bread. Have guests bring wine and a cake.
