Average/Normal size RING for a women????

Question

I bought a ring that will let me resize. What size do you recommend I get. She probably has average size womens fingers. I thought avg. was 7 but my mom said she is a 3. Please help

A 3? What is she, 6 year old?
A full grown woman usually wears a 6 to an 8. Buy the 7, it's what most rings come in since it's right in the middle of the size range, and it's easy to add or subtract that little of a difference.

A 3 is average size for a 6 year old child. I am a jeweler. Women's hands all vary to a great extent. Rings begin at a size 7 since it is about average and is the easiest to have resized. Just take the woman to a jewelr and have her ring size measured. It takes 30 seconds to do that.

In most jewelry stores the average ring size is a seven. I wear a size 6 on my ring finger on the left hand, a 7 on the right hand.

Certain fingers, can match (by size) your shoe size. My middle finger for instance is 5.5 in ring size, & that is also my shoe size.
It's very difficult to give a general size, becuase peoples hands & fingers differ so much. I'm petite, so I have small fingers. My pinky is a size 3, and I am a 34 year old woman! You can find ring sizing charts on the internet and I think that will help you alot. Good Luck!

I don't know what an "average" size is. I have small fingers. The largest size I can wear on any of my fingers is either 6 or 6.5. My ring fingers are size 5. I take after my mother who has hands so small that they could be mistaken for a child's.
