There are different ways of giving a man space. I also like my space, so am quite happy when the hubby goes off for a day of golf, or joins friends on a Saturday to watch rugby games. You should have get togethers with your girlfriends, for movies , or if you take a drink, go for drinks and have a fun night. Its difficult when you are both at home to give each other space. Here in SA we call it "time out". It works well if there is trust in a relationship. Good luck

the way you give him space, if it is serious, go to a friends house and stay there for a while until he tells you he wants u to return, if it is not serious, try and spend some time away from him out of the apartment. Make some time for yourself out of this situation. do some things for yourself that you lose sometimes when you are part of a couple, you know what i mean?:) see a movie, go for a jog, treat yourself to a mani/pedi! Believe me, this "space" thing will not last that long:) i have been married for 6 years and believe me i know space:) good luck

.Keep in mind you don't live in a box. So go to another room in the house or apartment. Try not talking to him. Let him start the conversation with you, Do things alone are go out with friend don't invite him along. Use his space time to pamper yourself.
Believe me he will not like all that quite time. Unless he is asking for space because he is seeing someone else

Pick a spot on the floor somewhere nice. Take a roll of tape and tell your sweety, this is your space the rest is our space which I rule, and mark of a small square. And then make him move it around a bit like you were rearranging the furniture.

Why should you give a man space is what I need to know.. If he's asking for space, that's a sure sign of making room for him to soar his oats on your time... His space is to move out, or you to move out... A man asking for space is up to no good.... self issues - so your choice is wait for new issues or deal with it

I encourage him to go out with his buddies, participate in hobbies he enjoys or I do the same. I'm in a weird kind marriage where we truly enjoy being around each other, but I know that space keeps it all in perspective, so I'll spend some time with friends or involve myself with other activities because I know my husband won't.

simply let him decide what he does with his time from time to time..my husband has a workshop (hes a Carpenter) if he needs time alone he goes there..some just like to chill and listen to music..give him time to be with his friends without you dictating what he is doing all the time...or being included all the time..allowing him time to himself will make him love you even more..how can he miss you if you are always there?? you can also let him plan his "guys night out" then you and the girls could have a night too...
