I am comparing hotels in Montego Bay, trying to stay in a 3-4 star hotel resort range. I have read comments on the hotels and no one has made a comparison from one to another. Looking for singles entertainment, meaning non family oriented. I enjoy large sandy beaches, resturants, nightclubs and of course tourist fun buying souvenirs. WHICH ONE would you choose?

I would suggest checking out TripAdvisor.com and type in Montego Bay in the search area. The forums section will let you ask this question there and get much more knowledgable answers. It will also give you reviews of resorts as well as other cool stuff.

Hedonisms are not the way to go for Mo Bay unless you're in to a severe alternative lifestyle. Severe meaning, do you want to see European Senior Citizens dying of sunburn in the nude!!! Ick!!

I suggest the Wyndham Rosehall in Mo Bay. It is in your range, rooms are decent, close to beach and nightlife. See, in Mo Bay, you will rarely find the hotel on the beachfront.

I suggest that you go to Negril. The beach on that side of the island is less trashy than MoBay (less seaweed). When I am in Negril, I met people that came over from MoBay because theu were not enjoying the beach in MB. If you do decide to stay a few nights in Negril (which I HIGHLY suggest), I suggest the Legend or their sister property on the cliff side of Negril called Samsara.

I hope you enjoy Jamaica. It is absolutely enchanting island with a very relaxed vibe. I never want to come home!

Good Luck and Happy Travels!! :)

Hedonism II or Hedonsim III. No one under 18 is allowed on the resorts and both resorts have nude beaches.

Sandals-Negril is clothing optional, so I don't think you can call that a family-oriented vacation spot.
