Good luck. The new stuff just doesn't seem to be the same as they used to be.
I don't usually care for live albums, so maybe I'll wait awhile until after the release to make a decision.
I can't believe a regular fan missed this question.

I have not cared much for Metallica since Load. However, I do think this next album does have potential. The mastermind behind Slayer, Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, LLCoolJ, RunDMC, Black Crows, Slipknot and many more, Rick Rubin will be producing Metallicas next effort. I think there is alot of untapped potential left in Metallica and Rubin will be the man to find it. I thought St.Anger was a good album actually, but I really think Metallica could do better still. Even after 20 odd years of being together. Metallica has performed about 3 new songs at a few shows in Europe the past summer.
