FYI: Wilson...the supreme court decided that an artist DOES NOT need permission to parody a song...this came about thanks to 2 Live Crew...

Weird Al USUALLY gets permission because he wants to be a good guy...he doesn't NEED to...

DING DING! YO! DING DING!
-Great stuff!!!!

The guts to piss them off? He has to get the artist's permission before he can make the parody. So, his songs have the original musicians' blessings.
The whole Coolio thing was just a media stunt so that he would maintain his "hard" image in spite of giving permission for a Weird Al song. If Coolio really didn't want that song out then all he would have had to do was get a cease and desist order for copyright infringement.

Hmmm, you learn something new everyday.

Pretty funny the first couple times you hear them. I liked his rendition of that Nirvana song that you can't understand the words to. It may have been Smells like Teen Spirit, but I'm not sure.

Amen to that, but I still prefer Amish Paradise. I wish he would do some more rock songs. He would be so good at that.
