im confused, i know yankees arew facing tigers right now but before that the Yankees would rather play the Tigers instead of Twins, but the Twins would rather play Oakland than the Yankees.
Do these 2 teams fear eachother?

I think the Twins will win it all and I am a die hard Tigers fan. It was soooo sad yesterday when they blew another lead and lost the division on the final day of the season. Anyway, I don't think it is a fear thing I think it is a who is a better fit for us to play as far as the Twins and Yankees. Inevitably they will probably meet anyway, eh?

They don't want to play each other in the first round cause they want each other in the WORLD SERIES! Yanks are the best and the Twins are the best this year. You can't have a #1 vs #2 so early in the playoffs or the best games will be over before the series's start. Nobody wants it - not the television stations, not the fans, and not the teams. The best should play in the WS, not early in the playoffs.
