Of those two, it's easily Reggie Miller. Bird isn't even in the top 30 on the ALL TIME 3 pts made list.
Miller has 2,560 3 pts, which is nearly 1000 more than Ray Allen in second place.
In the playoffs, Bird has 164 games played to Reggie's 144, but Reggie has 320 3pm to Bird's laughable 80.
Even John Stockton has more postseason 3's than Bird with 111.
This is hands down no question in favor of Reggie.
There are tons of better 3 point shooters than Bird, including...
Ray Allen
Jeff Hornacek
Dale Ellis
Dan Majerle
Hell, Wesley Person has a mind boggling 418 lifetime career 3p% with 2754 attempts, the highest of all players with over 1000 makes.
Kerr is tops in the 3p% with 454, but has only 1599 attempts.

Larry Legend was an excellend shooter but reggie made more 3's and shot a better percentage......I would take Larry over Reggie anyday but numbers dont lie, Reggie made more.....so Miller

Even though I am a Celtic fan, I have to go with Reggie. Bird was a much smarter player and seemed to know what was going to happen before it did. I do like Steve Kerr though, as well as Hornacek and thunder Dan majerle. Brown was amazing. Robert Horry put me on the edge of my seat more than once.

NO question Larry Bird beacuse he's done it so many times for so long in the biggest games, Reggies heroics can in the first round, second round and the conf. finals.

he's between the suited shooters ever. possibly no longer the perfect 3 factor shooter yet Steve Kerr isn't on the purpose of being the suited both. the only factor you've proved is that you're of direction no longer a Larry fowl fan and that you're a Steve Kerr brown-noser.
