The customs of modern Mexico are evolved from the traditions of the Aztecs. The Aztecs worshipped several gods and made human sacrifices to them. Their cities were built over water and the water was used as means of transportation. They made a lot of food out of corn and tomatoes, which were alien to any other continent. They had their own calander and had their own legends that led to their own demise.
