Definitely yes! It has definitely helped women to be more informative and more understanding. It has its reflections both in the backward classes as well as modern ladies. They are more independent now, can analyse things better, take their own decisions and execute them. The outlook has changed altogether even in the remotest places.Their opinions are voiced better now and heard.
Ofcourse, it has its own bad effects too. Because of the change in outlook, the family values are slightly diminshed and people are becoming a little more self centred. Divorces, adolescent love & escapedes, failure of marriages etc are on the rise as women are more aware about themselves.

Yes! But "a change" only.
Still women are considered "Second citizen" through out the world. In India we still hesitate to give 33% participation in politics. Education has given man status as some one told. But Her value is not evaluated even by great scholars.
She is not = to man, not < to man, not> to man but She is Special to the Mankind. When every body realise (including women) this TRUTH women status Will fully change & the world will be happy.

Certainly, it has brought about a great change for better of the women folks. It has freed them from the bondage from men. The career prospects that education has offered them the kind of economic independence that is necessary for them to breath a fresh air, in their life. Men can no longer treat them as mere chattels, whose existence depended on their perceived utility for the use and enjoyment of men.
The disadvantage is that despite the education and the career for women, they continue to bear the brunt of domestic chores. Men do not show the inclination to share the domestic responsibilities, although the wife has to do go outdoors, for supplement the family's income. Even this responsibility, women have been doing, with aplomb and with quiet dignity.

what i see is women doing what men has been doing for centuries, they have the men's behaviour now no better.what i have learnt as a man is our relationships with women before was wrong ,now it is brand new,we are all equal but each person is different so i will act upon this new person as i meet them.i believe the ultimate love is a man and a woman making a child and raising that child with the same god but the difference from before is being attentive and focused on each others needs what ever they maybe.so women are doing the same mistakes as men now,no one has come up with the truth.i believe i did.SO EDUCATION MAY CHANGE THE STATUS BUT MAY NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON,IN GENERAL WOMEN ARE NOT BETTER TODAY,THEY ARE JUST ANOTHER MAN.

Regardless you are male or female, black or white, education change your life and your status: if you know more, you can gain more; you have a better esteem of yourself; if you value yourself more, others will do also.
You can see the status of women in the 3rd world, in the muslim world: just one degree above slavery, while in the western world educated women are more respected, more valued, can reach more.
