Many here and in other forums (radio, tv, etc.) seem to compare current political leaders to Adolf Hitler. Do these comparisons cheapen the horror of what Nazi Germany actually did to millions of people? Is there, realistically, any current world leader who even merits being mentioned in the same breath with Hitler? If you think so, please explain why, based on actual events...not crystal ball statements like "If that country gets weapons of mass destruction, then bad things will happen..."

it's easier to make broad, sweeping generalizations that play to emotions, not fact.

I think any of them that practice genocide must be compared to Hitler because of the intent. Hitler's goal was to have one race. Obviously the scope of Hitler's destruction has not been met or even neared. However, any leader advocating the destruction of people based on nationality, religion or race is Hitlerian Hitleresque or whatever in their thinking. For example, Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda want to kill Americans everywhere just because they are American. Doesn't matter if their children or women or military.

Bush is worst than Hitler. He has committed genocide in the middle east and Afghanistan. He engineered the war between Israel and Lebanon. He is planning another genocide in Iran. In Iraq he lied to the world that Saddam had wmd and attacked them. Today he is building another lie that Iran is building a nuclear weapon. He has constantly supplied weapons to Israel to fight 'stone throwing' Palestinians women and children. He supports Israels illegal occupation of Arab lands. He is constantly looking for war with any nation that does not agree with the American policies(bullying the weak). When a moron is elected twice to lead a country like America, who wants to forcefully police the world than, than you can expect plenty of problems. George Bush is the worst tyrant and terrorist the world has ever seen. Hitler went after the Jews but Bush has gone after the Islam and he will not be allowed at any cost to kill our religion. We will only grow stronger. He is a shameless liar and people who have no integrity have no right to police the world.

Bush's politics could be compared with Hitler's, but nobody comes close in terms of mass, senseless destruction of human life.
