i think mr williams is over rated he can't play any instuments at least not half decent. needs a team of talented writers to write his songs. i believe he was in the right place at the right time and has been very cleverly marketed. there are loads of undiscovered singer songwriters in this country(uk) who are way better than mr williams. he also appears only popular in the uk and hardly sells any music in the usa which tells me everything, i think the americans are good judges.

You use this as your basis for arguing that Americans are good judges!!! Don't make me laugh!!! It was Americans who gave Paris Hilton a record contract, Kevin Useless wanker Federline, Jessica Simpson. Can any of these play an instrument really well or write their own material? No. The only thing they can do well is lip sync. I am not a Robbie Williams fan, but at least Robbie Williams can sing live and doesn't need a recording studio full of electronic equipment in order for his voice to carry a tune and then go on stage and mime to his own records.

I think Robbie Williams is very good. He is a great entertainer. Who cares if he can't play an instrument or has help writing songs. What people pay for is his personality and his ability to entertain and work a crowd.

You think Americans are good judges? That's a pretty stupid criteria for liking music. You should visit Tennessee one day and listen to the crap they play on the radio.

I think he is well overrated.

He is not that great a singer and his songs are mostly crap - Rudebox is a prime example. He is not as attractive as people make him out to be - I'm not saying he's ugly but he's no Brad Pitt!! If he were just a normal guy then I doubt that many people would fancy him. I think he is only still around as an artist today because he has an army of fans from his take that days. He is way too cocky and is totally in love with himself - I can't stand vanity in people; particularly men!

Yes, I totally agree with you...he's average - talent and lookswise, but reckons he's the best thing since the Beatles. Far from being a blend of the Stones, Queen and George Michael, RW is just bland. The only great (original) song he's done is Angels...the rest is mediocre. Also, he's a major attention seeker.

I think he's a good entertainer, but his songs suck a big dog's jubbly.

The only song I like of his is No Regrets, which was so full of co=songwriting and collaboration that it's hardly his at all, is it?

Totally over rated - he churns out the same old cack regularly... and then has the cheek to keep banging on about how much cash he is making from the indiscriminate halfwits who keep buying the cack. There is no justice.

He's so over-rated, he just got lucky. His last single showed how awful his songs are. Most of his fans are from his Take That days who are trying to hang on to their youth!

im not a fan, never have been. i think he is arrogant and cocky, he thinks he is a bigger star than he actually is, and the only reason he has gotten as far as he has is probably due to loyalty from old take that fans! never saw the big fascination with them either
