What do you think? Did the Trojan war really happen?

I want honest opinions, do you think the trojan war story reflected a real war? or do you think its where it belongs - in mythology?

It almost certainly occurred in some form, although obviously not exactly as depicted by Homer. The city has been found, and several studies of the area and the city itself suggest that the city was sacked and set on fire.
