I don't shave.
I like it - very much - when women do. Otherwise it's nasty.

well - I am not sure if you want to know if girls or guys shave their armpits so I'll give you my opinion on both aspects... I don't think guys should shave their pits or any other hair for that matter except for what is on their face and head - I trim down south just to try and keep appearances up but I have never and will never shave or otherwise alter the appearance of the hair under my arms.
as for women, I would prefer it if she shaved her armpits but I would not be opposed if she did not - I love hair and I think that it should be trimmed, maintained and well-kept on a woman... no matter where it is on her body. There is a certain place where I actually prefer hair on a woman (yes, I mean there...) but I do like for it to be nicely trimmed.

No, I will not give you a smart alacky answer. I know you want to know if GIRLS should shave or not. Myself personally I say shave. It appears to me that women have more shallow arm pits then do men. So even with the fact that most women who U have seen(and it has not been many)who forgo the shaving hand have very fine underarm hair. It is still visible. So for me, being raised to see no hair in the women armpits it is more of a visual thing. Like being accustomed to seeing women with hair, not bald, or sporting mustaches and such. Nothing scientific about it.

I would NOT shave my armpits, nor encourage my girlfriend to do it. I happen to like armpit hair.
Now, if I had to remove it from there, I'd use more durable methods than shaving, like plucking it out. (I've done it, so I know that if you proceed slowly, it's not too painful). Anything like shaving that has to be touched up within one week is not a good method. Life is too short to spend it in the bathroom.

No, I don't shave my armpits. But I do swear by a straight razor. It took a little getting used to but I love the shave I get with a straight, it is so much closer than any blade. I also love bay rum aftershave.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are
temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Not shave them, no. I can't shave my oxters - I get a rash within an hour of trying. Same goes for pubic hairs.
However, I can and do trim them, keep them short and manageable, and of course I make sure to wash them regularly and use deodorants as part of my bathing regime.

No, hair under the arms helps to absorb your perspiration. If I shaved, I would feel the ends of my hair sticking into my skin. So, no, sho shaving under the arms.
