I have a test tomorrow in Biology. I have studied a little but things have gotten in my way of studing. What is the best way to cram for this test or should I tell the teacher I'm sick and see if I can take it later. I really just want to get it out of the way tomorrow though. I like biology and I have had most of the stuff that is on this next test in psycology class so it should be pretty easy just to refresh my memory. I have put all my notes from class on flash cards. I could use any tips and thank you.

Just keep reviewing those flash cards every time you get a spare moment. I would go ahead and take the test, especially since you sound pretty confident. That way it's done, and over. And if you're carrying a good grade in the class, even if you were to get a B or C, it shouldn't pull your overall grade down that badly. Just go for it.

To be honest, the worst thing you can do is cram the night before a test. That only ensures that you forget everything. You must have known this test was coming for a while?
I can tell you this... in the future, when you know a test is coming, review your notes often, even if its only for a few minutes a day. Never try to cram all that info into your head the night before.
But, what I can suggest is that you go into a room where it is completely quiet, without little distractions, and focus on what you need to focus on. Clear your mind of everything else.
Read your cards, highlight the keywords. Remember those keywords. Color-code them if you have to.
Try using phonetic devices, and put your information into songs. Or if you are a visual learner, draw pictures.
Think of how you learn best, and apply it.

depends where your from? when i started to study for my hsc in bio. i opended my excersise book, and to my horror id only ever written in it on three occasions, what i did was i went through all the subject content pages and treated each line as a question from the exam and looked up each answer from text books and wrote them down. it was very helpfull cos the subject content page they give u at the start of each new topic is where they get your exam questions from and if you get a question that isnt from that list then we had the right to an appeal

Why not ask some of you fellow classmates if they want a cram session after school at your house?
