Some dyes contain oil, rubber and even coal. Rubber is made from oil and coal and oil are poisonous, try digesting that! Although, non-toxic dyes, that's a different matter!
P.S: They taste horrible

Yes, I guess this poisonous liquid is hydrogen peroxide(H202) , since it can be used in hair dye product. Its concentrated form is corrosive since it is toxic.

Yes,because there are some other chemical substances which will neutalize them.So , they wouldn't harm us if we use them correctly.
