try the land registry office, you should be able to get the number and address from the web. your local council wont be of any use, as the electoral roll will only show the people that are currently living there, thats if they have bothered to register. the land registry office will have details of who actually owns the property.....mind you, whether they'll tell you or not is another story..............best of luck.

You can find out from your town hall or a county clerks office. Or a real estate agent can look up the owner in the tax records. I have also found a website, www.propertyshark.com that is free to do general tax record searches on. Not all areas are covered but in my area I do find most properties that I look up. Once you sign up for free you can put in an address and it will give you the owner's name. Good luck.

When I was having the same exact problem, I went down to the tax department of the court house. They had a big map with survey numbers for each plot of land. I took that number and was able to go to the book with all the deeds in it and do a backwards search. I found the landlord, who basically didn't care as long as he got his rent. But I did go to the police aat that point about the incessant barking dog and they were able to file a nuisance charge.

Go to the local council offices, or the library and see who is on the electoral register.
The Land registry could be a help as they have records of who owns the freehold.
If they are causing real problems make a complaint to the local council.

Go to the tax appraisal office website for your county and state and type in the property address. That will tell you more than anyone should know about a property owner and it is public knowledge and free!
Scary huh?

Try the land registry - it lists the owners of property and land. All you need is the address plus post code - but you'll have to pay a fee - not sure how much, per search.

The county tax assessor's office can tell you who is being billed for taxes on the property. Usually, that's the owner.
