Normal as in everybody else is like this? No. Normal as in it's okay to be like this? Kind of. I think that if you're married it's important to always think of your spouse and what's best for him/her. But, only if that doesn't interfere with your happiness. I mean happiness in the long-term sense, not immediately. If what makes you happy is seeing her happy then there's no problem.

ok. you must be one of the few guys that are that considerate.
that is really sweet that you think so much for her. But maybe you might have a touch of insecurity; perhaps, low self esteem. communicate as much as you can with one another. that will be good for your relationship.
