If the remedy you are taking is a lower potency that a 12c (i.e. tincture or 3 or 6c) then there is likely still to be some of the initial substance left, all be it a very small amount as remedies are diluted 1:100 at each potency. But if you are taking a 12, 30, 200 then you would be OK.

Remedies can be very effective not only in strengthening the body (a constitutional prescription by a qualified homeopath) but for helping the recovery of muscles, tendons etc.

You didn't ask about the effectiveness of the remedies so I won't get into that discussion, that's another question.

Those who don't believe should try some Nux Vomica when they have a hangover!!

Best of luck with whatever you're competing in.

It is more or less scientifically proven that Homoeopathy is rubbish - the NHS recently denounced it. Save your time & money.

"A review of the reviews of homeopathic studies has been done by Terence Hines (2003: 360-362). He reviewed Taylor et al. (2000), Wagner (1997), Sampson and London (1995), Kleijen, Knipschild, and ter Riet (1991), and Hill and Doyon (1990). More than 100 studies have failed to come to any definitive positive conclusions about homeopathic potions. Ramey (2000) notes that 'Homeopathy has been the subject of at least 12 scientific reviews, including meta-analytic studies, published since the mid-1980s....[And] the findings are remarkably consistent:....homeopathic "remedies" are not effective.'"

As I understand it homeopathic remedies are diluted to the extent that they are just plain water or 1to10 parts per million. If its a banned substance (tincture of) then dont take it. Otherwise why not its probable it only works(if at all) on the placebo effect anyway.

homeopathic 'remedies' contain ~zero active ingredient, and Science thinks they are complete, total and utter crap (my personal opinion, too) therefore an olympic athlete could take a shedload of the stuff and still be passed clean under the anti-doping laws

Since homeopathic 'medicines' don't do anything, they should be ok to take before competing.
