I don't smoke but I do play ice hockey. It has been about two months since I last skated and I played a full game two nights ago and my lungs felt like they were on fire. Anyone know why?

If you haven't skated for two months, then you're out of shape. Your lungs aren't use to working so hard. Go for a run. Get into shape and you shuld feel better. It'll help your game as well.

Sounds like exercise induced asthma. There is medicine available that prevents those types of symptoms. But, Why would you play a full game without practicing for 2 months?? I don't understand.

it's a combination of the cold air and you being some what out of shape, keep up your activity level and the pain will go away!

I would think that your body isnt used to that level of activity, so it hurts. If you keep it up, the pain should go away. I wouldnt worry too much about it, unless it gets worse.
