I can believe no-one has mentioned Lee Evans. His energy is un-challenged and how he maintains it for a full hour and a half is ridiculous. He ends up with a drenched shirt after about half an hour because he is one of the few comedians that use the full stage. He's excellent. As is Bill Bailey but for completely different reasons.

My favorite comedians are Jim Carrey and Mike Epps.I love Jim Carrey from all of his hilarious movies,Mike Epps also but you have to look at his stand up comedy that s*** is funny as hell.

I like Ron White, MaryEllen Hooper, Bill Cosby I have XM radio and they are on there all the time making me laugh on the way to work. I need that in the morning.

Stewart Lee. Part of his act sees him conducting the laughter of the audience in a deconstruction of stand-up comedy, without actually telling any jokes. He is a genius.
