The eye is the sensor that collects the data, the brain is what puts the data in order to understand it.

Both together are responsible for human vision. Neither the eye nor the brain by itself can give the humans vision.

they both collaborate for working together. the light rays are recived by the eye and are te converted into optical signals that are then sent to the brain.the brain then responds to the signal and send signals again to the eye. due to this signal an image is created in the brain providing us with the great power of vision.........

Vision goes through your eye upside down into your visual cortex where your brain flips it upright and makes sense of what your seeing. Rods see the black and white, cones see color
