Many people like to be surrounded by people of their own race .... my bests friends are all Hispanic/Latino, although, I got friends of every race.

I don't have a best friend but lots of friends. some are the same race and some are not. however were all human beings!

I live in inner city Sydney. I'm in year 10 and one of my best friends is african american and the other is malaysian. There seems to be alot of different culture where i am, but as we leave sydney, i see more grouping and cultures/races are seperated. In the outer city sydney i have some friends, in the suburbs, and they say that the only different races they see are lebonese and asian. It really depends where you are... I love seeing different races and cultures come together as one. :-)

Generally, in my country, there's a particular race which tends to stick together (I've seen it everywhere I go). Yes, my best friend is the same race as me but I reckon it wouldn't matter if she isn't.

NOPE-- bestfriend is bf and he's European, I'm Asian. I have a lot of good friends from races other than mine, and from all walks of life. I'm not choosy in that sense, but I do choose people with good character. got friends who are Asians, Europeans, Americans, Australians, Africans-- all continents represented, now that I think about it!

No, both my husband and best girlfriends are all Caucasian and I am the token Asian. Though, two of my friends are married to a Native American and Persian. IMO, we are really a diverse group.
