Prejudice is an innate part of the human being. Everyone is prejudiced over something or someone or some group, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that, it's a type of fear or ignorance (and I don't mean ignorance as in stupidity). It's what you do about it that can be wrong. On the other hand, if you dislike racism and racist people, who have let prejudice run away with them, it doesn't make you prejudiced against them, they just exhibit a behavior you recognize as being wrong.

I don't prejudice easily - I figure I'm slow to judge, but let's see how it fits:
Racist people don't have brains...
Racist folks can't see past their own nose...
Yeah, I think I can be prejudiced against racist folks - making remarks about racist folks in general. The next step though is judging who fits in that category.
To put it another way, I don't think I could be friends with folks who are overtly racial.
Re comments of 'Want to Know'
Actually, it wouldn't make me racist - just prejudiced. Racist is judging people by race. In this case, race has nothing to do with this judgement. You can be white, black, yellow, red (or any other colour you pick - let's not be selective here) or from any country and be racist. I'm not judging all people of any one racial description. If I pre-judge some traits about someone because they fall under the category of being racist, I am simply defending myself from becoming associated with such.
Prejudice isn't everything, either - I'd still be slow to judge that someone really falls into such a slot. Someone would have to do more than laugh at a racial joke for me to judge them as being racist.

Racism is the belief that one race is better than another.A lot of people called racist just don't like people of other races due to bad experiences or not understanding. I rate people as individuals and have friends of all races.I also strongly dislike people of those same races. I like most others will decide by appearance weather or not i like someone. But it is usually that persons fault. They carry themselves in a way to portray a self image . That image tells often what they are capable of.A person who wears their pants below their waste is saying .I am trying to offend you .So i don't like that individual. Is that racism i think not.

i think that it's hard to not have judgement on people whos views you don't agree with, so ofcourse you are going to have an opinion on them and that's human nature. as long as you decide to keep a wide berth from those with views that aren't the same as yours and not act in an intimidating way, it's fine to hold your prejudice against people with ignorant views. don't let it eat you up though - it's down to ignorance, stupidity and so they should really be pitied!!

I think prejudice is wrong regardless of who it's directed at. In fact, wasting your time or energy being angry and fighting with small minded people is wrong....
