What did you do before this winter? Like in the other winters all your life? LOL
You should just go to your favorite store and try out a whole bunch of jeans! Why are you obsessed with the number? Choose a pair that fits you well! Goodness! And then you can look at the size and decide that that's your size. How can we know your size number?

Why don't you save yourself the hassle and just try them on in the store before you buy them?
If the 34s hang over your feet, the 32s will probably hit right where they should. If you feel they are too short, then get a 33 inseam. They do make them, it's just harder to find the odd sizes.

You must consider your proportions. Do you have long legs and short torso or vice-versa? I am 6'-1", and 32" inseam is OK on most pants, but some need to be hemmed up. Sizes of clothing vary, after all. Any clothing may need alteration. I don't wear jeans, for I wear suits most of the time, but the idea is the same for any pants.

I'm 5'10 and feel I have very short legs compared to the rest of my body. I use a size 34 down, but would rather use a 36, though they are really hard to find. Its better to buy jeans a bit too long, so you can adjust them yourself. Too Short jeans only looks stupid, I think. Regardless if your tall or short. I like my jeans when it covers my ankle ball or whatever it's called. Not all the way down to the floor, but almost. I don't like it when they crawl up my leg when I sit and cross my legs.

It doesn't matter how tall you are. You need to measure your inseam which is from the top of your inner thigh to how long you want your pants. Consider the shoes that you wear and shrinkage after washing. Since 34 is too long and 32 is too short, you will probably wear a 33.

I would get a 34 inch inseam and have them hemmed to fit you perfectly.
