At first I click the "board" games; then I try to open after clicking the "chess" wording but I received a blank window which does not respond at all.

Either yahoo chess is messing up or your computer is freakin retarded.

you MIGHT be having a pop up problem.
yep, due to yahoo having all of these new ads, your computer is "catching" them all, and it "thinks" the games are ads--that's what the pop ups are!!
funny, huh?
just turn off your pop up blocker. or just click allow when it comes up asking you.
that should do the trick
but, if you have already did all of that, try this. when you're just going join a table, click on options, then click box next to small windows.
some people also hold down the Ctrl button at the same time as clicking on a table
if all of that doesn't work, then it might be a java problem, and i know someone who will come by & help you with that shortly, or should anyhow.

UPDATE! Click on my PC ,disk drive C, open windows folder,next open Downloaded programs file. click game you want to play to high lite it.delete it.Now go back to game,it will prompt you tp download a demo,do so and page will open! Your old download is stale since yahoo's new upgrades
