Go and talk to someone at Student Assistance down at Humphrey Booth house. They're open 8.30 to 4.30 daily, they might be able to help you find some emergency accommodation.

The number's 0161 295 0467 by the way. Good luck :-)

And I empathise with the 2-bus journey as I have to do the same when I'm not on my bike (and it takes 1.5 hours each way...!)

You need to calm down and decide how serious the matter is.
I am sorry if I seem to be taking it lightly, but in many cases things can be worked out easily. Although it might mean doing something you are afraid to do, but you know to be right.
In any case, I would recommend getting a second opinion. Anybody you can talk to may make this seem a lighter burden.

If you consider the problem to be serious enough, approach the school authorities and even the police.
It doesn't matter how afraid you are, or what you have done. Better get it stopped now, it is a lot easier that way.

I have been in many situations were panic overcame me, fearing to do what I knew was right, and seeing no way out.
Many worse than what you are going through.
I'm still here.
I laughed at how small the problem was, once I took the first step in trying to solve it.
This is going to make you stronger, if you don't let it break you.

Martial Arts is what you seek for, even although you've not began to start up your adventure. A crude translation of Confucius, " a adventure of 1000 miles begins with a unmarried step". Your first step must be to stumble on a Dojo that you're feeling mushy in, ( a Dojo is a school of martial arts). you'll make acquaintances and learn a thanks to no longer worry strangers. a good dojo will rigidity honor and comaradarie. you may want to apply a touch of both. i'd recommend Jujitsu or Kung Fu they are both oldest and perfect platforms of self-protection contained in the line the position you could't " tap out " and no help is coming. you probable gained't supply me perfect answer yet in case you follow it up and bypass, a 12 months from now at the same time as your confident and in better suited structure you'll are conscious of it became the only answer. There you sit down, searching at who you dare to be, it really is not any longer the gap that concerns, it really is understanding the course and gaining understanding of how that reaches the objective. Martial Arts is a course which will lead on your objective.

I don't know what you should do about the wrong crowd, but moving into the halls (I assume you mean dorms) will probably have to wait until next semester. There should be someone in charge of housing, you should speak to that person about your desire to make a change. Some of your furniture can probably move with you, the rest you will have to either sell or pay for storage. (storage here is $80 per month)

If you are not comfortable living in your present situation then get out. Your personal safety is the most important thing. You need to think about what resources you have to get move out. Friends and family will help you if you just ask. In the future be careful who you associate with.

rent a different house? that way you'd be able to take your furniture with you. go back to the council housing office and explain the situation to them. they should be able to re-house you if you're in immediate trouble. if not, they'll be able to advise you on how to handle the situation.

otherwise, put your furniture into storage for about £20 a week and go into halls.
