hobbies......what are yours and why do you enjoy them so??

Hi , good question! I make greetings cards and have just started scrapbooking. I enjoy them because Im creative and love anything that expresses this.

I love to go fishing. I have a very hectic lifestyle, husband, father to three children. Always on the go and always looking out for my family.I also have a full time job and am currently doing a further education course. when i manage to get some time off i like to go fishing where there is no pressure from work no home work no family worries and i can just sit there and relax think of nothing but nature and the open air i always come home tired but fully refreshed ready to take on the world again

I've got four of them:
-Scrapbooking
It give me a chance to reflect on the photos that I have taken and put them in a creative page. My family enjoys looking at the albums and pages. And I love to show them off to other people just to see them smile in amazement.
-Knitting
I actually taught myself how to knitt two years ago and I haven't stop yet. I've knitted scraves, fingerless mittens, children's mitten, and child sweater for Christmas last year. When I see them being worn, I get a sense of pride.
-Sewing
Since obtaining an AS degree in Fashion Design, I like to contruct my own patterns to make clothing. This Christmas, I have made peasant costumes for my friends; the blouse and bodice. When I have sewn clothes and seen my family and friends wear them, I love seeing them wearing my stuff.
-Needlepoint
My mother taught me how me to this. Just seeing how you can make a design without having anything printed on the canvas is really amazing to me.
With all my hobbies, I have a chance to relax or being with myself in doing what I like to do best. If I'm not in the mood for knitting, then I do needlepoint or scrapbooking. My sewing is done mostly at night when my family is asleep. I love to scrapbooking with my friend at an-all day crop session; give me a chance to be with other people and have an adult conversation. My other hobbies; knitting and needlepoint, I can take on the rode to do while I'm vacation or camping.

I play a lot of PS2 and x-box. But I also enjoy getting out for walks, I do cross stitching, puzzles, light exercising, going to the driving range to smack golf balls when I'm frustrated and now that school is back in, my fav hobby is helping with my kids homework (not really, but it seems to take up the majority of my evenings now. lol).

Building and racing 1/10th electric radio contolled model racing cars.

Collecting die-cat model cars/trucks.

Playstation 2..specaily racing games

Watching motor sports Fomula 1 touring cars rally

I love cars and motor sports,I can't afford to race real racing cars and racing model radio controled ones is a motor sport,its the cheapest.

I like making jewelry because:
-it's shiny
-if you do it right it makes little tinkly sounds
-playing with fire is fun!
-I can get out my aggression by banging on stuff with a hammer
-I'm good at it
and
-there's nothing as exciting as molten silver flying through the air
