It is kind of a valid question. School shootings are becoming epidemic. We have people breaking into workplaces and shooting up people.

How can a 40 year old man walk onto a school, take over a classroom, molest girls and then shoot people!

When I went to school you had to hop 15 foot fences to go eat lunch at McDonalds because it was a closed campus with an adult at every door and ever gate, all day long.

Yes, It does make you wonder, since the invasion into Iraq has bolstered the recruits that the terrorist leaders have received. They have actually made this country less safe. Maybe the best thing the Republicans could do is to refrain from scrapping the bottom of the barrel for presidential candidates. This is true for the Democrats also.

Here...let me give an example of the "Democratic Protection" you so generously claim to have...

California State assemblyman Mark Leno (D) argues that “sexual offenders merely need better economic chances from society in order to reform themselves”. A guy rapes a four year old girl and he should be given better opportunities? He later said "If you deny them secure housing and deny them an opportunity to get on their feet and get a job and to be able to move forward for themselves and for their own children, they're more likely to re-offend, not less likely. I think that's common sense." OMFG! Let’s let these guys get set in and create a “sanctuary” to hide in and give them a front!

I'm a die-hard democrat, but your question is very unfair. NO ONE can keep EVERY ONE safe - never has happened, never will = doesn't matter what their political affiliation is.
