I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman. I think there may be a couple different versions, though....the one I just listened to at Rhapsody.com was a bit different than the one I used at my wedding. If you'd like to read the words to any of the songs that have been suggested, try one of the lyric websites...lyrics.com is good. Also, I just found a great website called ourweddingsongs.com......it lists hundreds of songs (and the lyrics) and it categorizes them by the part of the wedding you could use them for. Should be very helpful. Congratulations on your soon to be marriage. Shame on the rude and discouraging remarks other people have left about marriage and divorce!

"Always & Forever", or "Unchained Melody", or "I will always love you" by: Dolly Parton, not Witney Houston's version.. Witney's version is a bit over the top! For a wedding, anyway.. Dolly's is gentle, and smooth, just Beautiful !! There's this song Van Morrison did, called: "Crazy Love" ooohhh, what a sexy-song, and will totally enhance the whole wedding mood.. Some of the lyrics in this song, go>... She gives me love,love,love... crazy love.. Its a slow dance song.. Or for Oldies, Smokey Robinson's "OOh, Baby,Baby".. Joss Stones: Spoiled-song... I've always LOVED, that Oldie, by: Bread, "Baby I'm a want you", and "You make me so very Happy", By: Oh, I just know there group name has three names in it, like Earth, wind & fire, but thats not it, it was a 60s song.. Still a "Hit" in my eyes! for an "Uplifting song"...Even Earth Wind, & Fire, have their Reasons, song.. OOh, another beeeaauutiful song! Slow, but very heart-felt!! My son just gave me a suggestion, that is so Hilarious! I asked him what some good Love songs for a wedding he could think of & he gave me, "Dont stand so close,to me!!!" Ha! Ha! I almost wet my pants, laughing so hard! I said Bert this is a Wedding, he said, some people play that song at "Weddings", he was serious, I thought he was just joking! Ha!Ha! Well, Congratulations, are in order, here! And I sure hope I was of some help! All the Best of a Long, Happy, Marriage, to you Two Love-Birds!!! Smile!!!

Oh there are so many wonderful ones. I still love that old song "The Wedding Song" or some call it "There is Love" ...it goes like this: what then shall be the reason for becoming wife...a woman draws her life from a man and gives it back again....do you believe in something that you've never seen before? There is love... [Sorry can't recall all the words. It is perfect as it was written for a marriage ceremony.]

For the Bride and Groom--Could I have this Dance. For the Bride and Father--My Girl. To get all those wacky people out on the dance floor, you should always do the duck dance. These are great for the reception. At your wedding there is a beautiful song called "Flesh and Bone".

"Because of You," an old Tony Bennett song and "The Hawaiian Wedding Song" are good ones to be sung during the wedding service.

I'm not a huge country music fan whatsoever, but when my husband was in basic training, he was very far away from me. He called me up one late night and wanted to play a song for me. He told me it was the perfect song. It's by Lonestar. It's a remake, I think. It's called Amazed. Listen to it, you should fall in love all over again.
