No,a military action against Lebanon was not and will be not justified...Killing thousand of innocent people and destroying an entire country is not justified...
Israel said repeatedly that their military actions are not against Lebanon, but against Hezbollah...but what they did in the last 72 hours of the conflict definitely showed that they wanted to do as much harm as they could to all the people in Lebanon,Hezbollah or no Hezbollah...
Israel was not defending itself ,so they can not call attacking Lebanon justified...

NO it isn't!! Is it honest that an complete united states suffers because of one resistance fraction?!?! Is it honest that civilians are death and a desirable united states is being destroyed because of Hezbollah's movements? because of two squaddies? Terrorists are those who attack and kill harmless human beings, which in reality signifies that Hezbollah as a resistance fraction who's been battling Israel for years wasn't doing a terrorist attack even as it took those Israeli squaddies (to make a change) .. and Israel might want to be justified to retaliate antagonistic to Hezbollah .. yet that could no longer what Israel did!! Israel used this as an excuse and attacked Lebanon, it attacked "civilians" and total households were killed of their residences (would not that count number as TERRORISM??) , it destroyed bridges and airports in a united states complete of toursits particularly this time of twelve months, they blamed the lebanese authorities for some thing they did not understand develop into going to ensue .. is that Justified?! i imagine no longer clone of AL Qaeda had no suitable to kill harmless human beings on 9/11 via the indisputable fact that they had topics with the U. S. authorities! Israel has no suitable to punish Lebanon and its human beings for its topics with Hezbollah!

In the case of Lebanon, thats in their homeyard so one would say it is justified.

But remember, Israel had also had a history of offensive attacks. Remember Egipt and president Nasser, that was a kind of invasion.

Watch Spilbergs `Berlin` and pay specific attention to dialogue between two seceret agents in Greece, in abandoned house. Thats the historic dialogue and it shows the focal point.

yes. lebanon has knowingly sheltered, feed, and encouraged terrorists for many years and the terrorists began the hostilities by kidknapping an israeli soilder and refusing to release him when requested. the lebanese people where fully warned to evacuate by israeli flyers being dropped just as the united states did for japan in world war 11. any country whose government is allowing and encouraging terrorists to live and thrive and plot their work is a danger to all decent peace loving citizens.
